Cornish Content Commissioning
In 2024, we are delighted to be taking further steps towards a stronger and more authentic media representation for Cornwall that will build a vibrant ecosystem for companies and creatives working in the region’s screen & audio sectors.
Drawing on The Case for a Cornish Public Service Media, Screen Cornwall has secured funding from UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Devolution Deal to expand from FylmK to a broader range of content commissions around Cornish language, culture and heritage.
Our role as an incubator for a future Kernow Public Service Media also involves championing Cornish content for global audiences.
In early 2024, commission opportunities launched across FylmK, feature film development, scripted comedy for web and documentary short strands - announcements will be made soon.

This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
