BAFTA-winning Bait team fly the flag for Cornish filmmaking

Congratulations to Mark Jenkin and producers Kate Byers and Linn Waite from Early Day Films for netting the Outstanding Debut award at the BAFTAs. This intriguing adventure in low-budget analogue cinema, shot entirely in the region has attracted widespread critical acclaim. Of his acceptance speech, Mark said he wanted to: 'highlight the fact that there’s a huge team behind this film, and that creative team comes from a pool of incredibly creative people within Cornwall'. Kate Byers said, 'we made the whole film regionally... We're flying the flag for the ability to...create something together in the region'.
